  • The Adult Mental Health First Aid (Wales) course is based on internationally-recognised guidelines. The course is licensed by MHFA Wales, with evidence-based content and input from healthcare professionals, researchers and advocates.

    Due to the sensitive topics discussed within the training it is recommended that participants have an appropriate level of wellbeing before attending.

    Please note that this course is only licensed for those who live and/or work in Wales.

    Upon completion, successful delegates will receive a certificate, valid for 3 years.

  • 2 days (12 hours, plus breaks).

  • Face-to-Face course, either at your venue or through one of our open-access courses.

    Developing mental health problems

    • Depression

    • Anxiety problems

    • Psychosis

    • Substance use problems

    Mental health crises:

    • Suicidal thoughts and behaviours

    • Non-suicidal self-injury

    • Panic attacks

    • Traumatic events

    • Severe psychotic states

    • Severe effects from alcohol or other drug use

    • Aggressive behaviours
